FLC Group has signed a partnership agreement with Vietnam Farmer’s Union as part of the Agriculture, Farmer and Rural Area Development Cooperation Program. This partnership is of special importance in contributing to the construction of new rural areas in association with the reengineering of the agriculture sector. The ultimate purpose is to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of the farmers.
The Signing Ceremony between the two parties took place on October 26th, 2018 at FLC Samson International Convention Centre in Thanh Hoa.

On the side if Vietnam Farmer’s Union, the event had witnessed the attendance of Mr. Thao Xuan Sung – Full Member of Central Party, Chairman of Executive Committee of Vietnam Farmer’s Union; Mr. Leu Vu Dieu – Standing Vice Chairman of Executive Committee of Vietnam Farmer’s Union; together with other senior officers in Executive Committee of the Union.
On the side of FLC Group, there was the presence of Mr. Trinh Van Quyet – Chairman of FLC Group; Ms. Huong Tran Kieu Dung – Vice Chairwoman cum General Director of FLC Group; as well as other senior officers in the Board of Executives of the Group.\
Key to national economic development
In the delivery of the opening address at the beginning of the Ceremony, Ms. Huong Tran Kieu Dung – Vice Chairwoman cum General Director of FLC Group indicated: “More than ever, the vegetable segment in particular and the agriculture sector in general have been receiving special attention from the Party and the Government and is determined as a key to the economic development of the country.
In order to turn such vision into practice, the Prime Minister – Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc has directed to improve calling for investment from the business community since the absence of this constituent will be a barrier to the formation of the macro production of the Vietnamese agriculture.
That is the reason why FLC Group decided to expand the investment strategy to high-tech agriculture sector with the born of FLC FAM brand”, emphasized Ms. Huong Tran Kieu Dung.
Bà Hương Trần Kiều Dung, Phó Chủ tịch HĐQT kiêm Tổng giám đốc Tập đoàn FLC hy vọng hai bên sẽ phối hợp chặt chẽ để đầu tư phát triển nông nghiệp với nhiều hình thức liên kết, hợp tác đa dạng.
Cũng tại buổi lễ, ông Thào Xuân Sùng, Ủy viên Trung ương Đảng, Chủ tịch BCH Trung ương Hội Nông dân Việt Nam đã đánh giá cao vai trò của doanh nghiệp đối với sự phát triển ngành nông nghiệp và hoàn toàn tin tưởng Tập đoàn FLC với tầm nhìn, tư duy đột phá cùng chiến lược khác biệt sẽ giúp Hội triển khai hiệu quả chủ trương, chính sách của Chính phủ, đưa Việt Nam trở thành cường quốc về nông nghiệp.
“Sau các chuyến khảo sát thực tế tìm hiểu mô hình nông nghiệp ở nhiều quốc gia trên thế giới, tôi tin các doanh nghiệp trong nước có thể giúp ngành nông nghiệp Việt Nam đứng vững trên đôi chân của mình, và Tập đoàn FLC đang là một minh chứng điển hình cho điều đó,” ông Sùng khẳng định.
Phát triển nông nghiệp ngang tầm thế giới
Bàn về mối quan hệ hợp tác giữa hai bên, Chủ tịch Trịnh Văn Quyết cho biết, FLC mong muốn hợp tác lâu dài trên phương diện đồng hành cùng với Trung ương Hội Nông dân đóng góp về trí tuệ, con người, tài chính giúp phát triển các vùng nông thôn trên khắp cả nước.
Thỏa thuận lần này sẽ là cơ hội để hai bên phối hợp chặt chẽ với nhau tạo ra những sản phẩm nông nghiệp thiết thực cho bà con nông dân như: giúp nông dân tiếp cận công nghệ cao, tài trợ thuốc bảo vệ thực vật, hỗ trợ xuất khẩu để không còn tình trạng phải “giải cứu” nông sản dưa hấu, thanh long, thịt lợn… trong thời gian tới.
The Chairman of FLC Group thinks that effective operation of agriculture entails the businesses to have large investment conducted in a proper manner.
Expressing interest and goodwill during the visit to FLC Group on the occasion of the Group’s 17th anniversary, Mr. Thao Xuan Phung shared that he has great admiration for Chairman Trinh Van Quyet as well as the miracle development of FLC Group throughout the years.
Following the partnership agreement, he expects FLC Group to be not only a companion but also a guide besides the Union to assist in training the farmers to learn and get familiar with different models of high-tech agriculture.
He said: “The Vietnamese agricultural products thanks to the effort of FLC Group are now able to fly at the altitude of 10,000km. That is such a beautiful image of the Vietnamese agriculture as it has reached for the world”.

According to the signed agreement, FLC Group will collaborate with Vietnam Farmer’s Union to assist the farmers to develop agricultural cooperatives in order to ensure they are qualified to become satellites connected to a range of agricultural products of FLC Group. Besides, both the parties will propagandize and promote the agricultural products with guaranteed food hygiene, as well as high-tech agricultural production models invested by FLC Group.
Along with those, FLC Group and Vietnam Farmer’s Union will work closely with each other in transferring innovative agricultural technologies; organizing field trips for practical observation at high-tech agriculture facilities; training and developing the workforce in order to gradually intellectualize Vietnamese farmers and accordingly help to improve their production level as well as adaptive capability in the international environment.
With particular reference to the development of FLC FAM brand, FLC Group has set a target of planning and constructing primary agriculture areas that are integrated with high technologies. By doing so, FLC FAM will be able to assist the farmers in improving the productivity and also the product quality, as well as in the distribution of products.
Within the 2018-2019 period, FLC FAM in anticipated to invest USD 1.5 billion in developing agriculture on the total area on 15,000ha.
Both the parties strongly believed that this partnership will open more prospects and new improvement for the comprehensive cooperation in the field of agriculture, and at the same time contribute to the sustainable development of the Vietnamese agriculture sector in the international market.
